When Russia invaded Ukraine, the children of Ukraine woke up to a violent new world of brutality and horror – one in which their families were now targeted and attacked by Russia. It is almost impossible for children to process and express the trauma of war. For many, art is a safe medium that allows them to articulate and cope with their worries, fears and anger.
